About John Corigliano

Although John Corigliano has only written one traditional opera to date, that opera, The Ghosts of Versailles, has already had a revival at the Met and a second production--a rarity for a contemporary American work. Despite Ghosts's popularity, however, Corigliano has said that he has no plans to compose a second opera. Corigliano studied with Otto Luening at Eastman.
