About Marc Blitzstein

In addition to his own operas, some of which were presented on Broadway or show characteristics of the broadway musical, Blitzstein developed the definitive English adaptation of Weill and Brecht's Threepenny Opera, which opened at the Brandeis University Festival in Waltham, Mass, on 14 June 1952.
