About Peter Lieberson

Lieberson is a noted symphonic writer whose Buddhist beliefs often influence his compositions, including his single opera to date, Ashoka's Dream, commissioned by Santa Fe. He met his wife, the late soprano Lorraine Hunt Lieberson, during the production.
